Yes. The right fixture depends on the ceiling height, room scale, ceiling construction, existing electrical point and available support. Condos may suit compact or flush designs, while landed homes and double-volume spaces can accommodate larger or longer chandeliers. For heavy or oversized fixtures, confirm ceiling reinforcement and suspension requirements before installation.
Check that the electrical point is in the correct position, the ceiling can support the fixture and the wiring is suitable for the selected product. Hard-wired chandeliers and any wiring changes should be installed, tested and certified by a licensed electrical worker in Singapore. Compatibility depends on whether the chandelier uses replaceable bulbs or an integrated LED light source, as well as the socket type, voltage, wattage and dimming system.
